Amanda has experience walking and caring for dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes from her volunteering at a rescue centre. She has also passed, with distinction, the Professional Dog Walker and Dog Daycare course through the British Institute of Canine Studies.

“I have two young bullbreeds and two cats myself. I have owned dogs for the last 20 years, and cats all my life. I have also loved and cherished, rabbits and hamsters. I can’t wait to make friends with your fur friends and care for them as if they were my own.”

Christine has loved animals all her life.  Starting with rabbits, hamsters, goldfish and budgies as a child to current status of 2 gorgeous dogs and 2 very independent cats.
She can be seen rain or shine on the commons or walking the pavements to make sure her beloved dogs, Rosie and Bobby get the exercise and interaction they need.

Debra has lived in South London for more than 25 years and loves the parks and green spaces around us.  She has two Yorkshire Terriers, Woody and Iris, Woody is her fourth, he was rescued from a puppy farm and Iris, who is tiny, is incredibly bossy. Debra has always loved animals, growing up in Hampshire near Watership Down, she was obsessed with rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs and horses, riding every weekend for years.  In simple terms, animals make Debra happy and she cannot ask for anything more from a position with The Pet Manny.

Dray grew up around pets all his life from owning a couple of dogs, a cat and a goldfish to visiting different family members who were also pet owners, it wasn’t long before he developed a real love for all animals.  He loved seeing the different behaviours and personalities each one displayed. Previously a bus driver Dray found a new passion in a career centred around pets and has not looked back!

There’s a certain innocence during each encounter that just fills me with joy, whether it’s being greeted at the door with a wagging tail, patiently sitting by their food bowl purring or just waiting for my arrival and glad to see a friendly face”

Animals have been a passion for Ivonne since she was very young, and this love has grown over the years. Growing up in Colombia allowed her to surround herself with all kinds of exotic species of birds, monkeys, and even felines. She has owned a wide range of animals such as fish, hamsters and chickens, and currently has two male cats that are extremely well taken care of.

“I see pets as part of the family and for that reason, I think they should be provided with the same amount of care and love as a child.

I would love to have regular clients so the pets can get to know me and the owners can feel as confident as possible with my services but am willing to ‘come to the rescue’ in case of an emergency. “

Laura is a passionate animal lover who runs a busy home and has many years of pet care under her belt.  As a previous customer with The Pet Manny, she understands the level of care and responsibility that is required by owners when they are away from their little ones.  Laura is a dedicated member of the team and has an unfaltering commitment to everything she does.

“Ciao, I’m Laura. I love animals and at one point in my life, I owned a cat, a dog, two budgies, and two goldfish at the same time. I now have two cats who are my adorable furry babies. I really look forward to meeting yours.”

Maddy has been around animals her whole life; she was brought up with Basenjis, small birds, and ran a small sitting service with her sister looking after and caring for local pets.  She also learnt horse riding whilst growing up in the Cotswolds.  After moving to London, she began working in hospitality but has since moved back to her main passion and cause for happiness; caring for animals.

“I am so happy to be working for an amazingly talented team, and cannot wait to meet all the wonderful animals. Each and every one I am lucky enough to care for will be given love, affection and anything else they need.”

Ravin has two dogs, Louie (in the photo) and Bruno. He previously worked in kennels at Battersea for six years full-time and as a volunteer. He has lots of experience with all types of dog breeds, shapes, sizes and behavior. He learnt a lot about animal husbandry, training, assessing and enrichment, so your four-legged furry family member is in great hands!

There are not many types of pet that Ricky has not owned over the years.  Unfortunately, he has nursed many a poorly pet and has experience in many of the common ailments and complications that our pets go through.   His current cats, 2 Russian Blues called Denim (‘Doofy’) and Sapphire (’Schnoofy’), came to him in a very poorly way as kittens but are now thriving and are his pride and joy.

He has a passion for dog development and training and addressing behavioural issues.

“There is something about the connection between people and animals that fascinates me.  Especially when we have new pets on board.  I love watching our relationship grow.   My aim is to give the owners’ their pets back just as happy, if not happier, than they were when they gave them to me.  That’s job satisfaction!”

Stefano has been walking and playing with dogs since he was a young teenager, walking dogs for his elderly neighbours in his native Rome to make pocket money. He has had all types of pets from a young age, hamsters, canaries, fish, dogs, cats and parrots. He had successfully managed a pet shop for ten years.  Stefano currently owns, loves and cares for three dogs, a Westie and two Yorkies, a Burmese cat, an African Grey parrot and a Black Headed Caique parrot, most of which are rescues.

“For some unknown reason, I just feel at ease around animals, it is something I was born with, and pets feel that towards me too. I look forward to caring for all pets in my care at The Pet Manny and treating them to love and cuddles”

HEAD CARER for The Pet Manny Team (GU35)

Originally from Australia, Stevie has grown up surrounded by animals. His family are huge horse lovers, with his father owning and training thoroughbred race horses and his sister spending years as a professional show jump rider. Stevie has owned cats and dogs all his life and understands the love and bond pets have with their owners. Formerly working as a television producer, Stevie joined the Pet Manny in 2017.

“I currently have a Russian Blue cat who I adore. Growing up in Australia where our cats and dogs were in constant danger from pretty much everything, I have learnt how to properly care for domestic pets. I am loving working with the Pet Manny, it is a constant joy working with animals and I can’t wait for the future.”

An animal lover from an early age, Sue grew up with dogs and a budgie and always jumped at the chance to look after rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice and even, ferrets for friends in the holidays.  She has been a devoted cat owner for 25 years and understands the responsibility involved, and the absolute joy that such a special bond can bring.

“I’m thrilled to be part of The Pet Manny team and am looking forward to meeting your beloved pets, getting to know their fun and quirky personalities, and caring for them as if they were my own.”

Sue has always cared for pets for her 2 siblings and for many friends and neighbours, and has had cats, birds, fish, rabbits, hamsters, and gerbils of her own.  She has a huge passion for animals of all shapes and sizes, feathered, scaled, and furry.

“I have relocated from NW London, where I was a carer for clients with neurological disorders. Many of my clients had dogs (I cared for these clients for 2 1/2 and 7yrs. Mostly on long shifts or live-in shifts).

The dogs both have levels of anxiety. I learned to manage this by learning about their likes/dislikes and recognising their triggers and building trust.  I am very much looking forward to becoming BFFs with all The Pet Manny family”
